Cut the hockey stick down to size, measuring from the butt end. Insert some glue or epoxy into the hollow shaft of the stick. Push it in firmly until it's fully seated, then let the adhesive set up completely. You may need to file the end of the handle slightly to ensure a snug fit with your specific stick. I printed mine at 60% infill density, but you could probably get away with as low as 40%. I designed and printed the part in two colors on my Ultimaker 3. To complete the project, add a butt cap to the other end (check out this design on Thingiverse: https://www.thingaverse.com/thing:2551162). With that done, you're ready to go.
