Flybaby with Rotax Engine

The Fly Baby is a single-seat, open-cockpit aircraft with folding wings powered by engines ranging from 65 to 100 horsepower. Originally designed in 1960 to compete in the first EAA design competition, it has become a legendary aircraft. Built primarily of wood with fabric covering, most models are equipped with Continental A-65, C-75, C-85, or O-200 engines. Although a few models powered by Rotax engines do exist, they remain fictional for now. I designed and built this model several years ago as part of Ilan Papinis Vehicle Simulator. It's still available for download, along with a free demo of the simulator. Have fun exploring!
