Its detailed cockpit features a realistic instrument panel with select controls and instruments. The landing gear is retractable or extendable for enhanced animation. This model is available in 12 formats and 20 distinct paint schemes. The Bowers Fly Baby, a single-seat, open-cockpit wood and fabric low-wing monoplane designed by US aviation pioneer Peter Bowers, first flew in 1962 and now resides at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. Over 500 Fly Babies have been completed, with many still flying globally and an active community of builders and owners.
