Boasting near-scale dimensions, this model features animateable components such as ailerons, flaps, tabulator, rudder, and propeller. The intricately detailed cockpit includes various controls and instruments. The landing gear is retractable or extendable for animation purposes. Offered in 12 formats and 20 paint schemes, this model represents the Bowers Fly Baby - a single-seat, open-cockpit, wood and fabric low-wing monoplane designed by US aircraft designer Peter Bowers. First flying in 1962, the Fly Baby now resides at the Museum of Flight in Seattle; over 500 have been built to date with numerous examples still airborne worldwide, supported by an active community of enthusiasts.
