The cockpit features a detailed instrument panel with some controls and instruments. Retractable/extendable landing gear allows for animation. Available in 12 formats and 20 paint schemes, this model replicates the Bowers Fly Baby – a single-seat, open-cockpit, wood and fabric low-wing monoplane designed by US architect Peter Bowers. First flown in 1962, the Fly Baby now resides at Seattle's Museum of Flight. Over 500 Fly Babies have been completed, with numerous active flyers worldwide and a thriving community of builders and owners.
