Meticulously crafted to resemble its actual counterpart, this model boasts animateable features such as ailerons, flaps, tabulator, rudder, and propeller. The detailed cockpit includes an instrument panel with select controls and instruments while the landing gear can be extended or retracted for animation purposes. This model comes in 12 formats and 20 distinct paint schemes. Designed by renowned US aircraft engineer Peter Bowers, the Fly Baby is a single-seater, open-cockpit, wood and fabric low-wing monoplane that took its maiden flight in 1962. Now housed at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, over 500 Fly Babies have been completed with numerous models still flying worldwide, supported by an active community of builders and owners.
