Featuring animated ailerons, flaps, tabulator, rudder, and propeller, it also boasts a detailed cockpit with an instrument panel and working controls. The landing gear is adjustable for animation purposes as well. Available in 12 formats and 20 paint schemes, this model represents the Bowers Fly Baby, a single-seat, open-cockpit, wood and fabric low-wing monoplane designed by US aircraft designer Peter Bowers. First flown in 1962, the Fly Baby is now on display at Seattle's Museum of Flight, with over 500 completed models still flying worldwide and an active community of builders and owners.
