Its detailed cockpit features an intricate instrument panel and control elements. The landing gear can be retracted or extended for animation purposes. Available in 12 formats and 20 paint schemes, this model replicates the Bowers Fly Baby - a single-seat, open-cockpit, wood and fabric low-wing monoplane designed by American aircraft engineer Peter Bowers. First flown in 1962, the Fly Baby is now exhibited at Seattle's Museum of Flight; over 500 have been built, with numerous examples still flying globally, supported by an active community of builders and owners.
