I have redesigned a fly tying tool inspired by one I saw in a fly shop, crafted from wood on a lathe by someone else. This versatile tool serves multiple purposes: it functions as a half hitch tool to finish your flies, a hair packer for tying with deer hair, and a deer hair/craft fur reverse tie tool. I also made mine slightly longer in size. The first uploaded version features a larger post up front, ideal for packing deer hair on larger flies. The second upload showcases a smaller post, perfect for smaller flies that demand more finesse when tying.
