Take the top off a plastic bottle, and pour this stuff inside. Now, add something stinky to the bottle - raw beef or similar works great. Next, fill the bottle with water. As you wait, flies will fall into the trap. It usually takes a couple of days before they get hooked on the smell of the raw meat.
