Take an empty 8-liter plastic water jar and fill it with two liters of water before adding some fly bait - dry dog food, for instance, works remarkably well. Screw a fly trap onto the bottle's neck, then position it in the area where you're experiencing problems with flies. As the flies can enter through the opening, they are unable to escape due to the funnel-shaped design.
