Fly-safe Lid for Teapot

Safety Information: Use a filament safe for food because this object will come into contact with human drinks. This won't be safe against small insects or mites and their eggs. This lid is loose. Standard glass teapots have lids to keep temperature but not insects like flies and fruit flies away due to a hole letting liquid out, which often doesn't work properly and causes flooding around the cup or glass. This Lid has no hole and lets no insects into the teapot. The downside is that you must lift the lid off to pour contents. The grip is a hole with a fillet, and the shape of the hole can be a section of a ball or a cone - your choice. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.1-0.2 mm Notes: Filament PET should be fine if not contaminated with other stuff. PET does not deform when touching hot tea despite its heat-sensitivity. In doubt, make a smell-test. If you don't like the smell or there's a strong smell, don't use that filament for food-related stuff. Geometry You may have the same glass teacup as me because they seem to be standard or at least there is one big supplier for all German supermarkets, but it's still very probable that your teapot's inner diameter is not 75.5 mm and that the narrow part does not end 30 mm below the lid. The outer diameter of the rim of your teacup probably also differs. If so, please use the customizer and enter values that you can easily identify with a sliding caliper and/or a folding meter. Support It's a pain in the back to remove support if you print a ball-shaped hole. This is why I implemented an alternate cone-shape. I recommend choosing the cone-shaped grip-hole unless you have a twin-extruder and use soluble filament for the support. Post-Printing If you used customizer and found that your values led to a good result, please publish this as a remix with information like pictures or the name of a store or a brand that may help others find their teapot if they have the same as yours.
