Fly Rider
thingiverse
One of my AD&D/OSRIC campaign PCs has an Ebony Fly, one of the iconic Figurines of Wondrous Power, and I thought this would be a great opportunity to hone my Blender 2.80 skills by creating a figure that captures him in flight mode on his fly. As a cleric of Mother Shipton, a revered deity among the Carny Folk, I wanted to give him a vibrant jolly carny hat. The fly model is courtesy of YahooJAPAN's impressive work, while the rider was sculpted by me using Blender's versatile tools. The scale of this miniature figure stands at around 28-32mm, making it an excellent addition to any fantasy tabletop collection. This 3D model can be printed in one seamless piece or broken down into two separate parts, depending on your level of experience with adding supports. I opted for the single-piece model and utilized Cura's tree supports, which unfortunately proved to be a challenging task to remove cleanly.
