I decided to create this fly cutter as a test subject for our CNC machine, hoping it would withstood high grade plastic withstand its intense forces. Although the test results were less than desirable, our students now have all they need to craft their own precise fly cutters using their material of choice. This engaging project offers an ideal learning opportunity on both drafting and manufacturing processes.
