FLUX wings NRW style 3D printable wing for the FLUX Wingspan: 650mm Wingarea: 6,7dm² Weight: approx. 160g CG: 93,5mm from leading edge of root chord The printable version consist of two large sections, one wing tip, two winglet parts and three rudder parts. All the parts should be printed in upright position. Print every part individually. Use my Cura profile as reference (single wall, no infill, 130% wall extrusion, 6 top layer, 6 bottom layer, 4 initial bottom layer, 30% overlapping, less retract, move over printed parts, print hot and slow, preferably PLA) Use 0,4mm nozzle. Use CURA 4.13.1 It is designed to fit the FLUX wing spars. Use 3,7g Servos on it (e.g. GHS37D). You have to cut off the holders of the servo to fit. Before glueing parts together check fit. Dechamfer all parts and mating surfaces. Glue the rudder and winglet on a level surface with a straight docking line. Drill the winglet holes in the wing with 2mm drill bit. You can tap the holes in the winglet with M2 thread cutter. Use M2x20mm nylon screw to tighten winglet. Use high viscosity CA for the PLA parts. Use low viscosity CA for the spars, check they stick out 20mm before glueing. The bigger parts have print bed support pads. There are separated bed support pad files you can add to Slicer (0,4mm and 0,6mm thickness) Cut the support pads with sharp electronic pliers close to the printed part and smooth the rest with sandpaper. For rudder and winglet use brim support. Also print upright. To connect rudder to wing use tesa aluminum tape. For the right wing you have to mirror all parts.
