Flux Chamber Drip Tip

Flux Chamber Drip Tip

thingiverse

A tiny expansion chamber for vaporizers that features two chambers connected by three tubes made of macaroni-like material, providing a drip-free vape hit. Designed to work without a rubber ring, simply tear a piece of paper or toilet paper, fold it, wet it, and place it on top of the hole where the drip tip goes, then press the Flux Chamber into the vape for a perfect fit. The three tubes are not aligned perfectly, so it's hoped that it won't bother anyone with obsessive-compulsive disorder too much. The original design did not use supports, but they came out fine, except for a slight droop at the bottom of the tubes, which is thought to be due to the printer nozzle. It is recommended to print using PLA material as ABS can release toxic substances into the vape. Print at 100% infill and 0.2mm layer height. A brim might be necessary if bed adhesion is weak. Supports are suggested for better results. Postscript: The designer thought they had fixed the file, but a printed copy did not fit properly. To fix this, the end of the part was dipped into boiling water, then carefully shaped to fit into a KangerTech vape. This may still require the paper trick to get a perfect fit, as PLA shrinks slightly after being thermoformed. Postpostscript: Alternatively, scaling the design to 99% or 98% might work best. Sorry for any extra work this may cause. An updated version (V2) has been added, which should work better than V1. It features a chute inside the sphere to prevent vape juice from dripping back onto the coil and wick.
