Fluval Spec III Filter Cover

I prefer keeping my aquariums uncovered at all times. That's why I use this custom filter cover for my Fluval Spec III - it protects the exposed filter components when I don't have a lid on the tank. The top of the filter isn't exactly the most visually appealing part of an otherwise beautiful aquarium, after all. This cover actually covers two separate compartments in the back: one for the filter media and another for the pump. It doesn't, however, protect the tank itself from debris or other potential contaminants. Version 2 of this design includes a central support to prevent sagging over time.
