After I bought a Fluval Flex 35l/9g (okay... just because it looked nice) I quickly noticed some significant drawbacks and opportunities to tinker. So I started redesigning and adding features. This is Part 1.1 of the project. The entire project will cover cooling, heating, light control, water refill (and whatever ideas I come up with in addition), using an ESP microcontroller without any destructive modifications to the tank hardware. I wasn't happy with this opening in the lid without any way to close it (apparently for feeding). And in addition, the LED in the lid gets quite warm and heats up the water, especially during the warm seasons. So I designed a cooling fan adapter for this which stays in place without using any screws, clips or glue. This is the 80mm version of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3640543 because sometimes bigger is better. To keep it printable without support structures, I decided to design two parts. To attach the fan adapter to the shroud, 2x M3x12-16 screws are needed. For fixing the fan to the adapter, you'll need 4x M3x10mm screws.
