Flush Wall-Mount for Raspberry Pi Touchscreen
thingiverse
The Raspberry Pi 7" Touchscreen is a truly remarkable piece of tech at an incredibly affordable price point. Eager to integrate this device into my home automation system, I decided to mount one on the wall for seamless access. However, upon scouring online DIY mounts, I was dismayed by their inability to address the issue of flush mounting with no exposed wiring. This project showcases a straightforward solution using a 3-gang electrical box and a few custom 3D-printed components. For more detailed information, please refer to the full project description on Instructables.com: https://www.instructables.com/id/Flush-Wall-Mounted-Raspberry-Pi-Touchscreen/ After several iterations, I refined my design to create an improved version that boasts a stiffer faceplate and brings the bezel closer to the wall. These enhancements are reflected in faceplate_v2 and bezel_v2. While I strongly recommend using these revised parts for optimal results, I've left the original designs available as they were featured in the Instructable.
