This was designed to replace a faulty flush valve. It doesn't necessitate disassembling the tank, unlike many kits available for purchase. Nevertheless, you will still need some sealing putty, glue or epoxy, and a two-inch flapper to complete the job. I opted to use a Fluidmaster universal 2-inch flapper.
