Flush-Mount Turbine Fan Shroud

To assemble this model without supports, I divided the .stl file into two sections where the turbine cowl meets the base, and laid each part flat on the bed. This simple approach allowed me to print each half in a different color with ease, making it simple to glue the two parts back together cleanly. I also aimed to make the base fit perfectly flush against the fan, so I removed the bottom edge of the base, ensuring that the bottom edge of the turbine cowl sits just above the Bullseye duct. To secure the turbine firmly to the fan, I used 2xM2-16mm bolts, washers and nuts to hold the top posts tightly against the tabs at the top of the fan. I may later regret not attaching the base at the bottom edge, as there's a good chance it will buzz when the print head is vibrating. So far, so good, but these are still early days.
