Simple bar connector for mounting two fluorescent light fixtures in a "saddlebag" configuration (center mount, side-by-side orientation). Designed to fit all typical T12 light fixtures intended for wall/ceiling mounting, this connector provides a secure attachment solution. 30mm end and center pads accommodate most smaller fender washers or larger cut washers, ensuring a snug fit. The largest bolt diameter supported without scaling is M10/1/3". To assemble the bar, place a nut and washer between the base and spine, as indicated in the photos. This design feature alleviates weight-related sagging issues, providing stability to the fixture.* Supports are required only for the center section of the connector.\r\n\r\n* Connectors shown in photos exhibit slight sagging due to minimal infill and a limited number of perimeters. However, this deflection is negligible, amounting to just a degree or two, and would be entirely eliminated with increased infill.* Printed parts as depicted were produced using Proto-Pasta v3 HTPLA filament. Any suitable filament can be used for optimal results. The ballasts for the lights are centrally located, allowing heat to dissipate through the lamp body. Even under heavy loads (two 20w 24T12 bulbs per fixture), excessive heat has not caused any significant deflection issues. If extremely high-heat fluorescent fixtures are in use, consider adding an aluminum washer between the fixture body and bolt pads for added protection.
