FLUO LAMP

thingiverse

A dodecahedron lamp has been crafted using laser cut methacrylate and 3D printing for its joint parts. The project requires 20 joint parts, ideally printed on transparent PLA, along with 60 countersunk M3/10mm length bolts and another 60 M3 nuts of 2mm height. Acrylic nesting files for two A3 sheets (297X420mm) are provided, with a required thickness of 3mm; if thicker, the join parts may not fit. Laser engraved on one panel is the URL to this website, creating a physical link to the 3D models. The lamp utilizes a Compact Fluorescent GX53 bulb, but various LED bulbs are also compatible with the holder. If turned upside down, it can function as a container. The FabLab Barcelona is responsible for its manufacturing.
