Fluke 8024A Display Mount
thingiverse
This is a highly specialized replacement part designed specifically for the Fluke 8024A, one of the first digital multimeters ever produced. It should also be compatible with other Fluke meters in the same range, such as the 8020A, 8022A, etc. A frequent problem with these early meters is that their LCDs fail prematurely, resulting in an entirely dark display. I followed MrModemHead's guide for replacing the display with a new standard LCD, but instead of machining the old display mount, I created and printed a replacement part. Unfortunately, I was shipped a 4-digit display instead of the 3.5-digit display that I ordered, and only discovered this after I'd already wired it up, hence the yellow temporary fix wires. It still works perfectly though. I've included all my design files in a zip archive, including a model of the original display mount, before I started removing material and editing it to work for my meter. You might want to edit this if you're using the mount for a different meter like the 8020A, which does not have the same tight tolerances with caps near the left front support. Good luck, and let me know if you have any questions!
