Fluid level sensing using force sensitive resistor

Fluid level sensing using force sensitive resistor

grabcad

The current design maintains similarities to the previous model, but features a stationary floater with minimal movement and increased buoyancy for optimal force transfer via a connected rod. As fluid levels rise, pressure is transmitted through the resistor, which adjusts its resistance proportionally to the applied force. This results in an accurate output that indicates the fluid level within the tank. For precise readings, the device should be positioned at the geometric center of the container. The design can be scaled according to requirements and accuracy is influenced by floater size and sensor resolution. In case of failure, only the faulty sensor or a specific portion of the upper assembly (including the enclosed sensor) needs replacement. Please re-upload the corrected 3D files.
