This 3D model was initially crafted using Sketchup 8 before being transformed into all other 3D formats. The native file format remains .skp, while 3dsmax scenes utilize 3ds Max 2016 and are rendered with Vray 3.00. To successfully traverse a double skin brick wall via a pipe, I developed this 'collar,' which demands merely an additional plate to bridge the cavity when filled. Alongside it is a bolts/threaded rod, used for securing it - this approach makes it interchangeable or serviceable, if not ideal. Nonetheless, it keeps the flue as a standalone entity; in the event the stove is replaced or uninstalled, this component can be modified for another pipe size or stopped up with minimal additional materials. This design remains a concept for now; there's no actual proof of its feasibility, nor does the model's material dimensions and texture accurately reflect intended specifications. Its primary metal surface is shown as aluminium solely because that is the only continually available metal plane; a 5mm thickness ensures background elements aren't visible.
