This is FLUDD, a wearable Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device modeled in Fusion 360. The design breaks down into multiple pieces, engineered to fit snugly on a Lulzbot Mini build plate (155mmx155mmx158mm). Each piece slots together seamlessly for effortless assembly and prints with no supports required. Check out the exploded view for step-by-step instructions. To bring FLUDD to life, I've printed out key components from its top section, showcasing its intended functionality. Next up: printing the remaining pieces, followed by a sanding and painting process to give it a polished finish. Although FLUDD doesn't shoot water in reality, its head and arms can rotate, adding a touch of whimsy. A belt slot is designed into the device for easy wearability, but I'm still experimenting with how well it works. **Print Settings** * Infill: 10% infill is used; feel free to increase it for stronger parts. * Layer Height: 0.2mm is ideal for most components. For less detailed pieces, higher layer heights can be employed to speed up print time and minimize sanding needs. * Supports: Most parts don't require supports, but some with small overhangs might benefit from them, like the "pump base" part with its belt slot overhang. * Assembly: Refer to the exploded view and sectional view for detailed assembly guidance.
