Stop the y-axis belt from slipping with a simple lead screw conversion. This upgrade utilizes an 8mm pitch, 500mm long lead screw, paired with a flat pillow block and coupler, secured by a nema 17 motor mount bracket. The nut mount is attached at the original belt's attachment point on the Y-axis plate. To configure Marlin for this change, update from 150 to 400 steps per mm, matching the Z-axis settings. Additionally, you may need to add a couple of washers under the limit switch, depending on your system's specific requirements. If your stepper drive voltage is not sufficient, consider slowing down moves to achieve optimal performance.
