Description The nozzle of the FLSUN SR is slightly longer than the focal point of the stock fan ducts, resulting in the airflow cooling the nozzle rather than the part / extruded filament. Whilst this hasn't had a noticeable effect on the majority of prints, this may cause some issues with high angle overhangs or longer bridges, as well as small / thinner details on certain models. This redesigned fan duct adjusts the focal point of the air flow by changing the angle and position relative to the nozzle. It reduces the area of coverage but increases the pressure and overall air flow directly to the point of printing. Update 21/07/2021 • This version is now final with no further amendments planned for this type. • It is recommended to use the (S) version if using the stock hot end • It is recommended to use the (L) version if using a standard volcano hot end Update 02/07/2021 • Added a modified version (S) of the 'ultra narrow' duct which shortens the duct and adjusts the angle to account for the lower height This is the recommended version and should be used if the (L) version interferes with your printed parts. Update 01/07/2021 • New design with narrower duct added to files The amended design features a narrower shape to further focus and increase the pressure of the airflow.
