FLSUN QQ Spool Holder MK2

<p>A <strong>Spool Holder </strong>for the FLSun “QQ” Delta 3D Printer designed to hold a standard spool of filament securely while still allowing for quick spool changes, along with a removable <strong>PTFE tube bracket</strong> used to hold securely a PTFE tube coming from the dry-box, when printing filament that are hygroscopic.</p><p>The FLSun QQ original spool holder did not work well for me in my environment. Therefore, I designed this spool holder in 2019 and it has been performing to my satisfaction since.</p><p>The part was originally printed on a Prusa MK2s in ABS and on the FLSun QQ in PLA to test the design’s print-ability on various printers. I reprinted it in Prusament PETG on a new Prusa Mini+ received recently, to test that printer.</p><p>The part can be easily 3D printed, without any support, on a modern inexpensive 3D Printer. It can be printed with a variety of materials, including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA and many other types of printable materials.</p><p>PETG works very well for this application. It is easy to print. The object should be durable, easy to maintain, and last for a long time.</p><p>PLA also works as long as the parts will not be used, stored or kept at in a high temperature environment, exceeding ~55 C (~ 130 F). Sitting on top of the FLSun QQ, it is far enough away from the heated bed to not be affected by it.</p><p><strong>Recommended print settings with a .4 mm nozzle</strong></p><p>- Layer Hight: .2 mm</p><p>- 6 perimeters or shells (2.7 ~ 3.0 mm)</p><p>- 14 bottom layers (2.8 mm)</p><p>- 14 top layers (2.8 mm)</p><p>- Infill 15%~20%, depending on infill type</p><p><strong>Thank you for viewing this object!</strong></p><p>If you like it, please click on the “like” button.
