I wanted to utilize larger spools of filament, but the placement atop the QQ-S Pro proved unwise. Thus, I designed a simple extruder locator that also allowed for cutting the Bowden tube approximately 20 cm shorter. To connect this locator to the printer's base (ventilation holes), you'll need three pieces of M4 (or M3) bolts, each measuring 12-15 mm in length, along with their corresponding nuts. Two additional M4 bolts, also 12-15 mm long, will be required to connect the original extruder to the locator. A few zip ties are advisable for securing everything in place. If you prefer the extruder cable to point downwards, loosen the four screws on the extruder motor and two small hex bolts found on the motor shaft within the extruder. This will enable you to reorient the cable connector towards a different direction.
