Flsun QQ-S internal fan duct
thingiverse
As the internal fan within my QQ-S unit fails to circulate air effectively towards the main board, I encountered issues with layer shifts that appear to be caused by overheating stepper drivers. To enhance airflow and facilitate better cooling of the board, I constructed a simple duct to redirect cooled air towards the mosfets and drivers for optimal thermal management. Furthermore, I adjusted the stepper motor current in the firmware settings, as the default value of 1000mA seemed excessively high and was likely contributing to the overheating problem. This modification should help mitigate the issue while also promoting a more stable printing experience. The duct itself is remarkably thin, but it's positioned within the enclosure where it will be shielded from potential impacts, ensuring its structural integrity remains uncompromised.
