I'm utilizing a 6x6 tactile micro switch button sourced from Amazon, paired with DC plugs for effortless connect/disconnect. This design is notably more compact and closer to the height of the nozzle, requiring only a simple slide to the back of the carriage. To ensure proper fitment, I've carefully trimmed the 2 pins, allowing the switch to nest comfortably within its designated slot. For easy access, I've connected the nozzle wire to a female DC connector and secured it above the carriage. Next, I've soldered a wire to the first pin, which will be used in conjunction with a male DC jack connector. To facilitate effortless removal, I've also soldered a longer wire to the second pin and repurposed an old USB connector from the sticky plate. This design combines elements from 3DEDDY's and GreyAlien's innovative creations, offering a streamlined solution for your needs. Note: When utilizing this setup, please avoid heating up the nozzle.
