This upgrade will transform your Flsun Q5 into a high-performance machine with an all-metal hot end, significantly outperforming the stock one. To ensure correct alignment, position the fan holder so that the single dot is to the right and both dots are facing upwards. This setup will facilitate accurate hole placement and offset. To begin, you'll need the following hardware: 2x M2x20 hex head screws 2x M2 nuts These components make up the entire hardware requirement for this upgrade. Next, carefully cut out a portion of the reluctor plate to accommodate the new hot end. To do this, attach the stock hot end to the plate and draw a cutting line along its circular edge. Once you've marked your cutting path, proceed to remove the circle however suits your needs. The screws that hold the fans in place will secure the hot end, ensuring it remains properly positioned during operation. You may need to trim or replace the lower heat sink screw with a smaller one to accommodate the upgrade. To assist with assembly and troubleshooting, I'll be posting additional photos and videos soon. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. Additionally, I plan on creating a video tutorial on setting up your printer after this upgrade. The process involves manually adjusting the Z-zero and bed level before enabling auto-bed leveling.
