This fan shroud eliminates the gap between the FLSUN Q5 chassis and the intake fan to reduce the hot air recirculation when cooling the components inside. This is because in its stock configuration, the fan is not mounted right against the chassis from where it can intake fresh air, but a bit further inside the chassis which causes it to recirculate hot air.
