FLSUN Cube LED Strip Mount
thingiverse
I don't have reliable light coverage around my printer. I usually observe the initial layers to ensure everything's working properly, but I often need my flashlight out to see more detail accurately. I designed this LED mount to hold a flexible strip of LED lights for my FLSUN Cube. The mount is tilted and curved slightly to provide better light coverage over the print bed. It attaches between the two pieces of angled aluminum used to support the print bed. I have also included a clip-on switch holder and cap in the design. I simply used the small test switch that came with the LED strip I purchased. The holder can clip onto the side of the printer---to the extruded aluminum frame. The cap can be twisted to hold the switch in the "on" position. The Alpena Flex LED 24" White is the LED strip I used, which I bought at Walmart for around $18 in the automotive aisle. I connected it to the 12V power source. The parts are small and flimsy, but they make installation easier since they have a lot of flexibility. The LED holder prints best when curved away from the bed.
