I designed a new hot end that's identical to the stock one but with fewer components and a simpler design. After putting in far too many hours of work, I ended up with something better than the original and it has performed flawlessly for over 200 hours without any issues. I've included two STL files along with their source code - "improvement" hot end and MK6. The MK6 uses a Reprap V6 extruder, which is modified to fit the new hot end. To make room for this modification, I removed all but one of the side blowers and replaced it. The MK6 features a single-piece design, a rear-mounted sensor, a hole for routing cables, and re-enforced supports. This redesign makes the entire assembly sturdy and optimized for efficiency. In the "improvement" version, I used an existing blower mount as a starting point and added a single-piece mount along with a proximity sensor mount. This design allows for easier removal and replacement of the components. Both hot ends are designed to be drop-in replacements. However, keep in mind that using a blower fan may cause your printer's Y-axis to hit against it. To resolve this issue, I've included an extended Y-axis part. To assemble these hot ends, you'll need: * A blower fan (available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MJU6JR2/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) * Screws (mine came from my FLSun kit's spare parts) * Optional: a Reprap extruder (available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GD8LCFO/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
