My childhood was filled with a mix of spirituality and wonder. At four years old, I received a locket from Dakhineswar temple in Kolkata that held a special significance - it worshipped Mother Kali, the powerful goddess. A few delicate petals from flowers offered at her feet were carefully placed inside the locket as a sacred gift. This marked the beginning of my connection with a deeply meaningful religious artifact.
