Version 4: Complete! For now, there's no functioning mouthpiece compartment, so the one inside the FM will have to be used until V5. Check out the progress videos, shots, and updates at my blog, crayprints.tumblr.com. New features include narrower width and longer length of the baggy holes on both sides of the unit. This allows baggys to actually fit in them. Additionally, there are now lids for all compartments including baggy holes to reduce scent. There are also lids for the 3 tool slots on top and the base where the Flowermate snugly fits. To increase stability, I've added pegs - if you use a whip to the dock like I do, you'll find that the weight distribution isn't enough to withstand a whip among friends if you have a stiff tube for your whip. However, those of you who use standard FDA-approved food tubes can fix this problem with the larger infill percentage print setting (50-100%) and legitimate bronze infill filament material - they are the biggest contributors. I've now finished designing the third version of the Flowermate dock. The visual design has changed drastically since the last version, mainly due to switching to different modeling software. Gone is the squareish look, replaced by a rounded and modern one. There are 2 deep pockets within the shoulders to contain whatever you please - I store my herbs in there. There are also 3 small storage holes for stock brush, stock cleaning tool, and stock mouthpiece. The print settings are up to you; I use wood at 200C (light sandwood texture) - 230C (crispy/darker texture). I print using CTC.
