Flower stake
thingiverse
This is a plant tag you can print and write on with a marker. I designed them with a triangular stake for better stability in the soil. This model is highly durable at various settings. I've printed them with a 0.4mm layer thickness and an 0.8mm tip size. You can achieve production times as low as 15 minutes per tag at 0.8mm. I created this design using FreeCAD and sliced it in Slic3r, then printed on a RepRap printer. It could be modified to include text on the angled side, but I found that writing with a marker is more convenient and effective. These tags have proven to be highly resistant to wear and tear over several seasons and are unlikely to get lost easily. I recommend using a light-colored filament such as white, yellow, blue, or green. A black marker shows up clearly from a distance.
