Overall this 3D creation model proved to be the most challenging to create due to two major obstacles. The primary reason why it was harder to bring the 3D model to life was because of artist block, which severely limited my creativity; and countless trials and errors to ensure that the design would be effective. Despite using the advanced 3D program SketchUp Pro 2015, modifying the creation to have a different use proved to be extremely difficult to apply. At first, it remained unclear as to how it would assemble as a flower-inspired lamp from the starting point of a spear head, but eventually I discovered the solution and it became a great success in design. Once again, for this creation as well, I decided not to print it due to a lack of time. How I Designed This For this 3D creation model, I designed it in multiple stages, which ultimately led to the final desired product. I first imported the spear head file created by Bitsandpieces3dprinting from Thingiverse into my 3D program SketchUp Pro 2015. Next, I utilized the option box that contains different shapes to create squares below the spear head and then attached them to it. After that, I used the extrude option box to create the long spear shaft along with drawing a circle shape on the bottom of the shaft as a support base. Then I attached the circle shape to the spear shaft and extruded it to a suitable size. Following that step, I drew a platform structure surrounding the bottom parts of the arrow points. Afterwards, I started to experiment by using extrude and voilà - as a result, I achieved the structure which was the flower petals. Next, I extruded the square shapes in multiple directions to cause them to envelop the spear head in order to resemble a flower. Lastly, I added pentagon shape type holes to give it texture by drawing pentagon shapes into the extruded squares and then extruding the pentagons shapes inward.
