Flower Press

Flower Press

A few years ago, when we were engaged, I built a large flower press for my wife to use on our wedding invitations. Recently, she mentioned that her big press was too cumbersome for pressing single flowers. To address this, I decided to design a printable flower press. This basic press consists of top and bottom plates, each printed and cut to size. Inside, two pieces of corrugated cardboard and non-glossy paper are layered with the flowers in between. Additional layers can be added for multiple flowers. Secure the layers together using 4 M3 screws and nuts, tightening to squeeze out moisture. For customization, I've included the OpenSCAD file, where setting "Top" to 1 creates the top plate and 0 creates the bottom.
