To string your dental floss, form a bow. This method requires less floss than using fingers and is only slightly more difficult. However, bear in mind the standard warnings - don't swallow it and avoid if you feel uncomfortable with plastic in your mouth. The design has some issues too; the bow might bend inward due to insufficient thickness, and the straight-line handle may make reaching back teeth tough. Always follow your dental hygienist's recommendations for flossing frequency.
