Floss 3.0 Turtle Fin

Floss 3.0 Turtle Fin

I'm creating my own version of the no-hardware JTFPV Floss 3.0 Turtle Mode Fin as sold by Pyrodrone. This design is a clever use of the Floss 3.0's top plate, and it's becoming my go-to fin for this frame. I want to thank JTFPV for coming up with this fantastic idea. I initially intended to keep this design to myself, but seeing others posting similar designs made me think my version had a unique twist. I designed the fin to print as a flat piece instead of a pre-bent one, so when you thread the two ends through the top plate and bend the middle, it puts the TPU under some spring tension. So far, I've been getting great results with this approach since the material stress keeps the fin taut and springy. I've included both versions: one with a camera protection loop like the original, and one without. As others have mentioned, getting the two thin ends through the middle slot can be a bit tricky, but using pliers makes it more manageable. This design stands about 50mm tall in the middle of the loop.
