This taller fin is designed to keep all your motors off the grass. The previous version was only 20mm tall and didn't do a great job at keeping them clean. This new one stands at around 35mm tall, providing much-needed clearance for your drone's underside. To add extra support, the side pieces are slightly raised to give the fin more stability. If you're looking for an alternative top plate design that can replace your existing one altogether, I recommend checking out the "Floss 2 Taller Top Plate 4mm base.stl" version. This model features a sturdy 4mm base plate and is identical in design to the first taller fin.
