FloRotors Roosh Boot
thingiverse
I was thrilled to accept an invitation to fly in a garage park, despite knowing that unforgiving concrete can be brutal on carbon fiber. To safeguard Roosh's arms, I worked at lightning speed to create protective boots that would withstand any impact. Flo offered to send me the digital file of the arm so I could make one from scratch, but I had already gotten a head start by tracing the arm onto paper, digitizing the sketch, and adjusting dimensions on my own initiative. To my surprise, they fit perfectly, as snugly as brand new leather boots. They shouldn't budge in a crash. These boots are specifically designed for 5mm arms, and I've attached photos of the pre-final iteration above - note that the final version features a half honeycomb cutout on the bottom.
