Florabest Lidl Grass Trimmer String Head Replacement
thingiverse
This is a simple and lightweight alternative head for my old Florabest grass trimmer. I hated the plastic blade which kept breaking too often. So, I made this alternative head to use much cheaper string instead and keep it lightweight enough for this poor engine. That's really a dummy design but it surprisingly works just fine and has finally become practical - unlike with the blade, it wasn't. The good news is that you don't need a screw (it fits exactly in place) because I've lost mine and was unable to buy a left-thread screw anywhere. Compared to powerful gas-engine driven grass trimmers, it cuts well in the nearest proximity without breaking the string. It's cheaper and more effective in my view. You just push the head into place, put string in it, and tighten it with the screw cap. It's a right-hand thread screw. Perhaps a left-thread screw would be better, but it doesn't seem to unscrew. You know, it's not that powerful. If you want a left-thread screw, you can use a mirror tool in your slicer. It's designed for narrow 1.5mm string. The string you put in is curved, so insert it in rotation so it will come out of the head. Print upside down.
