Flora IV-6 VFD clock
thingiverse
This is an enclosure for my Flora IV-6 VFD clock. It's last of my designs made in Tinkercad so you may have to slightly adjust the X and Y size in your slicer. Choose *IV-6 VFD Main filled.stl* if you want to print the enclosure in white. I personally suggest stone white PLA from Spectrum with particles. It very nicely hides imperfections. If you want to print it in a different color, choose *IV-6 VFD Main.stl*, this one has open holes for the dots. I suggest to print it with some darker filament that's not translucent. Print the dots with transparent PLA. I also suggest to attach a strip of white paper sticker or just glue a strip of paper on the inside, so you get a nice diffused light. You will have to shove the dots in the holes so make sure not to print them too large - they should just barely fit inside and stay in place by friction. You can further secure the dots with a dab of superglue but I wouldn't recommend that. **Project github:** https://github.com/mcer12/Flora-ESP8266 **Printing settings:** - Layer height 0.2mm - Line width 0.5mm - No supports required - I personally very much like the new beta version of Cura arachne engine which prints much better than normal Cura.
