Flora - Animal Crossing
thingiverse
Model is from Pocket Camp, ripped by Centrixe (thank you!). I posed them, added a base and optimized it for printing. They print in two pieces that you must join together at the end. Printing settings: I recommend both a brim and supports. I print at 0.12 mm resolution to get the best results. For joining the pieces, I use Locite super glue. First, align the base, then apply glue, letting it dry completely before attaching the head. This allows you to make any necessary adjustments for warping. Depending on how you paint it, your model could be Gladys or Phoebe or one of the ostriches. If you decide to paint it, I recommend spraying a primer first, followed by acrylic craft paint. I use the affordable kind from Walmart and it works fine, just remember to thin it with water beforehand. After painting, I spray mine with Krylon Colormaxx Clear - Flat to protect the paint and ensure it lasts longer.
