Flor de loto (Siglo V a.C. - IV a.C.)
sketchfab
This frieze of limestone originates from the Necropolis of Estacar at Robarinas in Cástulo. The iconography refers to Iberian culture as much by the typical concentric circles as by the lotus flower, because this is the symbol of Astarté, a very important deity in the Iberian pantheon and in the city of Cástulo. This goddess, therefore, relates to the custody and protection of the dead, which makes her location in a funerary tumulus of an important Iberian figure perfectly compatible.
